Kessel Trail Update

Kessel Trail, the trail between shower steps and the top of the Kessel on the AT, is closed because of land owner purposes.  Please do not use this trail.

Thun Trail 

The Schuylkill River Greenway Association announced Construction on the Thun Trail from Gibraltar to the new trailhead at route 10, in Berks County, is complete and the trail is open to use.   The reconstructed Trailhead is known as the "Brentwood Drive Trailhead" on the Thun Trail, and it includes a large paved parking lot.

Allegheny Front Trail has New Web Site

The Allegheny Front Trail, under construction since 1995, includes 40 miles of hiking and 11 vistas in Central PA.  Visit the new web site for more details.
